A male youth had knocked on the window of a house in Vicarage Lane, Bramford, at around 3.15pm on Saturday October 17, and asked to look for his ball in the back garden. The elderly male occupant joined the youth in the garden but no ball was found and the youth left. A wallet was then found to be missing.
The youth is described as of Middle Eastern appearance, in his late teens, 5 foot 4 inches tall, of slim build with shirt brown hair and was wearing a beige mac and grey trousers.

People are reminded to keep their homes secure at all times. If a suspicious person calls at your house and you are concerned they are not genuine, do not let them in and call police.
