POLICE are appealing for information after a 21-year-old woman driver was followed by a man in a red or orange car.The woman was followed as she drove from Ipswich to her home address in Finborough Road.
POLICE are appealing for information after a 21-year-old woman driver was followed by a man in a red or orange car.
The woman was followed as she drove from Ipswich to her home address in Finborough Road.
When she was driving along the A14, she noticed a vehicle behind her.
As she left the A14 at the Stowmarket/Needham Market junction the vehicle, which is described as new looking and similar to a VW Polo, followed her and put on his full beam.
She continued towards her home address as he flashed his lights behind her. On one occasion he tried to drive alongside her to get her to stop but she kept driving.
She drove onto her drive followed by the suspicious vehicle. Both the lady and the man got out of their vehicles. At this point a member of the woman's family came outside and the driver apologized and drove off quickly in the direction of Onehouse.
Police are appealing to this driver, as he may have an innocent explanation for his actions, or anyone else who has information relation to this incident to contact Pc Samantha Jenkins on 01284 774 100 or Crimestoppers on Freephone 0800 555 111.
