POLICE are appealing for information after a prisoner failed to return to a Suffolk jail after being given permission to visit an address in London.Gregory Emmanuel, 39, who was serving two and a half years at Edmunds Hill, Stradishall, near Newmarket, for robbery, disappeared on Monday.
POLICE are appealing for information after a prisoner failed to return to a Suffolk jail after being given permission to visit an address in London.
Gregory Emmanuel, 39, who was serving two and a half years at Edmunds Hill, Stradishall, near Newmarket, for robbery, disappeared on Monday.
He had been granted a license to visit an address in Bow, London, and should have returned by 4.30pm on Thursday.
Emmanuel is described as black, around 5ft 5in tall, of medium build, with black hair and brown eyes.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Constabulary said: “Members of the public are warned not to approach him but to contact police immediately either by calling 01473 613500 or by reporting the sighting to their nearest police station.”
