SUFFOK police today urged extra doorstep vigilance after a distraction
burglary near Haverhill.
A man had his wallet stolen after two people claiming to be calling on pensioners talked their way into his house in School Road, Kedington on Friday morning.
The two people are described as a white male, in his forties, 5ft 6ins tall with balding brown hair and wearing jeans and a leather jacket. His accomplice was a girl, thought to be about 13, who was smartly dressed, 4ft 5ins tall and with a brown pony tail.
Police have advised that all Suffolk residents fully check the identity of any person they are unsure about before letting them in to their homes.
