Police warning after homes raided

SUFFOLK police are today urging people to lock up their homes after a recent spate of burglaries in Ipswich.

Police are investigating a number of burglaries and are urging the public to keep their windows shut and secure all doors, windows and gates with suitable locks.

On September 13, occupants of a flat in Wellington Court, were awoken at around 5.30am by somebody in their bedroom.

He is described at about 5ft of slim build and wearing a baseball cap. He had got in to the flat through an open window.

On the same day a house on Bramford Road was burgled and personal items and cash were taken. Computer games and cash were taken from a house on Hilton Road on September 15.
