POLICE are warning people in the county to beware bogus callers following a distraction burglary in the county today.A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said a distraction burglary took place in Newmarket at shortly before 2pm when two men posed as water board officials.
POLICE are warning people in the county to beware bogus callers following a distraction burglary in the county today.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said a distraction burglary took place in Newmarket at shortly before 2pm when two men posed as water board officials.
The pair gained entry to the home and stole money.
The spokeswoman said: “We would ask people to remain vigilant and not let people into their homes without proper identification.”
