Archant

It was all a little bit too much for Coco the cockapoo - after several hours of walking around Trinity Park the cross-breed refused to go any further.

Owner Maureen Pollock was carrying the light brown cocker spaniel cross poodle in her arms by mid-afternoon.

“She has done well and been a very good girl, she has been walking around since this morning.

“She is very tiny, we thought she would grow bigger than this but I guess there are advantages to being small.”

Mrs Pollock added: “This is the first time we have been here, she has loved it. We have seen all the animals and we have seen lots of other dogs about.”

The pair, from Coney Weston, were with Mrs Pollock’s husband, son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter, and they were very impressed with the offering.

“We liked the gardens and the flower show. I have been to the Yorkshire Show and for many years we went to the Essex County Show when it was held at Great Leighs and this is the best.

“It is great that we could bring the dog, we wouldn’t have been able to come otherwise as we couldn’t have left her all day.”

There were dogs of all sizes and breeds at the show, see if we captured your pooch on camera in our gallery, above.
