PEOPLE in East Anglia will be able to air their views on the postal service when regional watchdog Postwatch East of England hosts a public meeting next week in Ipswich.

Postwatch committee member for the IP postcode Chloe Cockerill, will join Postwatch regional committee and Consginia representatives to hear the views of the public on Wednesday, April 10 at 1.30pm at The Great White Horse Hotel in Tavern Street.

Robert Burgin, chairman of Postwatch East of England, said: "It is vital that customers' views are heard and acted upon and that is why we are here.

"We will be focussing on the major area of customer concern in this region which we already know to include late delivery and post office closures, and we will be working very hard to obtain more feedback from local consumers on both through these public meetings and our eight networks of representatives across East of England."

Postwatch is an independent organisation, not attached to the Post Office or the government and was set up to ensure that Royal Mail, post offices and Parcelforce provide the best service possible.
