A FULL scale emergency was triggered in Great Cornard today when an envelope containing power was delivered to a business in the town.The package was delivered to Nestle Purina in Mill Tye about 9am today, forcing an evacuation of the building.
A FULL scale emergency was triggered in Great Cornard today when an envelope containing powder was delivered to a business in the town.
The package was delivered to Nestle Purina in Mill Tye about 9am today, forcing an evacuation of the building.
Fire crews, police and ambulance crews were all called to the scene and officers specialising in hazardous materials were also deployed.
The substance was tested just before noon and found to be non hazardous.
