MORE winter misery was heaped on hundreds of homes and businesses in Felixstowe this afternoon - after the power went off.
The electricity black-out happened about 1.20pm, affecting the east side of the town - including the Cliff Estate area - and dozens of businesses in Hamilton Road.
While households could do without TV, cookers and kettles for a while, the biggest blow was to suddenly find the central heating was off.
However, thankfully, the power cut only lasted about ten minutes before electricity was restored.
