AS the drums of war against Iraq intensify today a Suffolk woman fears for her family trapped on what may become the frontline.

At a time when Christmas has brought families together across the world, refugee Sara Yildirm can only think of the family she has had to leave behind.

AS the drums of war against Iraq intensify today a Suffolk woman fears for her family trapped on what may become the frontline.

At a time when Christmas has brought families together across the world, refugee Sara Yildirm can only think of the family she has had to leave behind. Those thoughts bring tears and dread.

Her father and sisters wonder when they will be able to escape Iraq or if they will die.

Since she escaped to Britain three years ago, university graduate Sara has fought to rebuild her life. She has found a husband, had a child, and worked her way up to opening a shop in Ipswich.

Today she makes an impassioned plea for the West not to go to war against the people of Iraq in a bid to topple despot Saddam Hussein
