A TEENAGER has been arrested today following a road accident in which a pregnant woman was killed.The 22-year-old woman from Rochford died when the blue Ford Escort she was a passenger in was in collision with a blue Ford Peugeot 206 in Manners Way, Southend yesterday at 8pm.

The 22-year-old woman from Rochford died when the blue Ford Escort she was a passenger in was in collision with a blue Ford Peugeot 206 in Manners Way, Southend yesterday at 8pm.
A 19 year old man from Southend was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The driver of the car in which the woman, who was eight months pregnant, was a passenger, was a 20 year old man from Rayleigh who suffered a suspected fractured leg.
Four people travelling in the Peugeot, all from Southend, were taken to hospital.
They were a man aged 19 who suffered head injuries, a man aged 17 who suffered hand injuries, and two girls aged 14 and 15, both with severe back injuries.
