THE Prince of Wales is set to visit Suffolk next month - his second trip to the county this year.

On December 2, Prince Charles will visit Ipswich Town Football Club to meet young people who have been helped by the Prince's Trust's partnership with the club.

The charity, which is the East Anglian Daily Times' chosen charity of the year, was founded by the Prince and offers practical and financial support to young people who need it most.

A spokesperson for Ipswich Town said the Prince will specifically look at the TEAM project, aimed at people aged 16-25 who are currently unemployed.

It aims to encourage people to work in a team of 15 people for 12 weeks, taking part in community projects, gaining work experience and gain the practical skills that will help them secure a job or place on a new course.

Prince Charles and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall were given a warm welcome when they visited Suffolk in August, making stops at Snape Maltings, Southwold and Blythburgh, sampling local produce and pledging their support to the county's small shops and producers.
