The prince, who is colonel-in-chief of 3 Regiment, Army Air Corps and 3 Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, will meeting personnel from the two units who are readying to join other British forces for potential conflict in the Gulf.

Members of 7 Battalion, Royal Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, based at Wattisham, are also heading for the possible war zone.
