IPSWICH residents were today invited to “flock to the sock” to help launch this year's Sport Relief Mile event by laying socks to create a giant mosaic.
The 2000-sock mosaic, constructed on the town's Cornhill, is aimed at promoting the charity run being held in the town on July 15.
