HERE we Quo again!

Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt are on their way to town.

Status Quo have announced they are heading out on the road again later this year with their Riffs 2003 tour and no tour is complete without a couple of dates in Ipswich.

And so in true fashion, which seems to confirm that December in Ipswich just isn't right without a visit from the rocking duo, Quo are booked to perform live at the Regent on December 11 and 12.

Tickets for the concerts go on sale at 10am on Friday at £26.50 each – the same price as last year. And if history repeats itself, as is likely, both dates promise to be complete sell outs.

Status Quo have been around since the 60s and have had more then 50 British singles, selling more than 110 million records.

But it is on stage where the band are most at home and their love of touring shows no send of coming to an end any time soon.

That's good news for Quo's Ipswich fans who are regularly treated to performances by the band when they head out on the road. Francis and Rick are familiar faces at Ipswich Regent and in April 1999 even put in a more intimate performance at the Railway, in Foxhall Road, Ipswich.

n Status Quo will play Ipswich Regent on December 11 and 12. Tickets for both shows go on sale on Friday at 10am and will be available from the Central Box Office, in Princes Street, Ipswich, by calling 01473 433100 or online at www.ipswich-ents.co.uk
