A WATTISHAM-based RAF search and rescue team were called into a search after a distress beacon was sighted.
A WATTISHAM-based RAF search and rescue team were called into a search after a distress beacon was sighted.
The beacon was spotted shortly before 10pm last night and it was believed to be in Whitstable harbour in Kent.
The Wattisham team was brought in to find the source of the beacon however it was found that no one needed to be rescued and the helicopter returned shortly before midnight.
