Train passengers travelling between London Liverpool Street, Ipswich and Clacton are facing delays this morning due to a broken down train.
The 6.29am Ipswich to London Liverpool Street, due in at London at 7.50am, terminated at Colchester and will no longer stop at Marks Tey, Kelvedon, Witham, Stratford and London Liverpool Street.
Delays of 30 minutes are also expected on the 6.02am London Liverpool Street to Clacton-On-Sea service, the 6.47am Colchester Town to London Liverpool Street service, the 7.16am Clacton-On-Sea to Colchester service and the 8.16am London Liverpool Street to Clacton-On-Sea service.
Eight services between London Liverpool Street and Norwich calling at Manningtree, Colchester, Ipswich, Stowmarket and Diss also face delays.
A spokesman for Greater Anglia said: “We apologise for the disruption to your train services this morning.”
