RAIL services between Ipswich and London are nearly back to normal following earlier disruption caused by a fatality at Kelvedon.
A spokesman for rail operator 'one' said both lines were reopened by 12.45pm.
Services had been suspended between Colchester and Witham while emergency services dealt with the accident, which took place at 10.10am.
However, rush hour services are expected to be unaffected by the delays.
Police have revealed that the person killed is a 65-year-old woman from Tiptree in Essex.
