Railway maintenance equipment stolen

EQUIPMENT worth thousands of pounds has been stolen from the Anglia Railways maintenance depot in London Road, Ipswich.British Transport Police are appealing for any information after thieves used bolt cutters to break the locks before making off with chainsaws, hedge trimmers and other saws on October 22.

EQUIPMENT worth thousands of pounds has been stolen from the Anglia Railways maintenance depot in London Road, Ipswich.

British Transport Police are appealing for any information after thieves used bolt cutters to break the locks before making off with chainsaws, hedge trimmers and other saws on October 22.

All the tools have serial numbers on their body work: 45666, 45667, 45670, 45680, 45673, 45672, 46128 and 47873.
