Rape appeal to go on BBC's Crimewatch

AN APPEAL for help in hunting the man who raped an Ipswich teenager is to be made on national television.

A reconstruction of the attack is taking place today to be broadcast on the BBC's Crimewatch UK programme later this month.

A reconstruction of the attack is taking place today to be broadcast on the BBC's Crimewatch UK programme later this month.

The victim was raped on July 28. She had left Kartouche nightclub when a man approached her, walked her along Ranelagh Road and up Birkfield Drive to Stone Lodge Lane where he attacked her.

He is described as white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of plump build, with short, spiky brown hair, clean shaven and wearing dark clothes.
