A RAPIST carried out a violent attack on a woman just feet from her front door in Suffolk.
The 41-year-old woman left the house on the Clements Estate, Haverhill to put the rubbish out when the rapist struck at 11.30pm yesterday.
Police described the incident as a "shocking and violent attack" and said the woman was too traumatised to give a full statement.
The rapist is thought to be white, but no other details are available about his appearance.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between 10.30pm and midnight.
