FIRE crews in Suffolk have today battled a huge straw fire in Raydon.The fire broke out at about 6.45am on Raydon Airfield and involved 60 tonnes of straw.
FIRE crews in Suffolk have today battled a huge straw fire in Raydon.
The fire broke out at about 6.45am on Raydon Airfield and involved 60 tonnes of straw.
Fire fighters from Hadleigh tackled the blaze and one crew from Princes Street in Ipswich assisted.
The fire had died out by noon but firefighters were expected to check on it again this afternoon as a precaution.
