Readers have sent in pictures of them enjoying the sun, have we included yours?
Yesterday was the hottest April day for nearly 70 years with temperatures reaching more than 26C in Suffolk and Essex.
As our region reached temperatures hotter than Nairobi and the Canary Islands we asked to see how you were spending the day.
Take a look at our gallery of readers pictures and our own pictures of Ipswich’s Christchuch Park in the sun.
If you would like your sunny snap to feature in this piece email it to email@example.com
The warm weather is set to continue today with inland temperatures forecast to reach 24C-27C and 14C-16C by the coast.
