A COTTAGE which has remained unchanged for at least 50 years has fetched £270,000 at an auction.

Hundreds of people turned up to place their bid for the unique Nayland property, which features an array of authentic furniture from the 1930s.

The cottage lies in Court Street in the village and has sparked a huge amount of interest since estate agent Robert Chapman released details of its auction.
