Mr Gould, 53, of Church Road, Felixstowe, is to be featured on TV show Outrageous Stunts demonstrating some of his unusual feats.

He will also talk about how he does them and the hard work which goes into each one – and reveals his secrets of flipping beermats, for which he is best known.

Father-of-three Mr Gould said: “In the show I do about seven record stunts including beermat flipping and other variations, coin snatching, and holding eggs in the back of my hand.

“Included is what is considered to be the impossible flip.

“I flip a pile of beermats 360 degrees, which is full circle unlike the 180 degree normal way.

“I also beat two of my world records.”

Mr Gould, who has double-jointed hands, was also timed for his coin snatching speed – which was measured from the moment of dropping his arm to catching in a time of 0.24 seconds.

He said: “Norris McWhirter (Guinness Book of Records) once said I have the fastest reflexes in the world but I am sure he just meant I was very fast.”

The founder and president of the Record Holders’ Republic (RHR) is being featured on the programme being shown on 5Spike on Tuesday, August 7 at 10pm.

Since the mid 1980s Mr Gould has held more than 20 different world records.

Those he is most proud of include reciting Pi from memory to 3,000 digits and writing Einstein’s Equation on Relativity from memory, over 1,000 symbols, letters and numbers.

His is able to coin snatch 328 ten pence pieces, and do the 360 degree beermat flip with 24 beermats.

His other records include catching a football kicked by Dave Robinson a distance of 78ft 8in cleanly in the back of his bendy hand; and he also held the record for the fastest 301 in darts, 33secs after beating Eric Bristow, but later lost it to former world champion from Ipswich, Keith Deller.

His beermat record is snatching 117 beermats from elbow to downward palm, and in beermat speed flipping completing 1,000 mats flipped in 28secs from piles of 40. He has also flipped 46 CDs.
