SIZZLING sausages marked the British Red Cross' first national fundraising event, in Ipswich.
The Big Sizzle event at B&Q Warehouse in Bury Road, saw staff encouraging people to get involved, and help raise more than £100,000 for charity.
People are being asked to hold barbecues at home, in community areas and workplaces during Red Cross Week, which runs from May 5 to 11.
Doug Gower from the B&Q Warehouse, said: "The services that the British Red Cross provide in our area are vitally important – we are delighted to be supporting the Big Sizzle."
