A NUMBER of Suffolk towns and villages are on flood alert today after heavy rains this weekend.The Environment Agency has today issued a number of early 'flood watch' alerts including the River Deben from downstream of Cretingham to Bromeswell, including Wickham Market, the River Deben from, and including Debenham to, and including Cretingham and the River Lark from Clopton to Martlesham.

A specific flood warning has been issued for Wrentham, north of Southwold.
