FELIXSTOWE'S summer floral celebration, the lynchpin of the resort's status as The Garden Resort of East Anglia, has a new major sponsor - the Port of Felixstowe.
The port has agreed to help with the running costs of the Felixstowe in Flower 2007 project to the delight of community leaders.
The scheme, which has been running 22 years, provides a floral trail through the seaside town with 120 sponsored hanging baskets, plus tubs and troughs, plus competitions for gardeners, children and businesses.
