A SCHEME for new flats and offices destined for a central Ipswich street will probably have to be rethought to get permission.
An application has been made by Kenmore (Ipswich) Ltd to add three floors and extensions to a 1960s office building at 153 Princes Street.
Ipswich Society has supported the proposal as 'exciting' but wants bicycle parking, and is concerned about the colour and finish of walls.
Kenmore has also made a separate application to alter and extend the building.
Councillors meet on Wednesday to discuss the plans, but refusal is anticipated unless much improved proposals are received which also address flood risks.
