A LORRY carrying rice caught fire at Fornham St Martin today .
AN ARTICULATED lorry carrying rice caught fire at Fornham St Martin today .
Firefighters were called to a lay-by on the A134 at 6.40am where the vehicle's tyre had blown out and gone up in flames.
The load of rice had to be removed before the fire could be extinguished.
No traffic hold-ups were reported because of the blaze.
