WATTISHAM'S RAF helicopter was scrambled today after a man and a boy fell into a river.
Emergency services were alerted to the accident, at the River Great Ouse, Godmanchester, at around 2pm.
It was reported that the pair's boat had capsized and they were hanging onto a tree branch.
Cambridge firefighters rescued the casualties, neither of who were seriously injured, and the helicopter was not needed.
