An air ambulance was called to treat an injured woman following a crash involving a car and lorry on a busy Suffolk road.
Suffolk police received reports of a collision on the A140 near Earl Stonham at just after 2.30pm this afternoon.
The driver of a Nissan Qashqai was reported to have been injured after colliding with a lorry.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Stowmarket, Debenham and Princes Street in Ipswich, to cut the injured woman free from the wreckage, which they had done by around 3.10pm.
The injured woman was taken to hospital by land ambulance - and the air ambulance returned to base.
A police spokesman said the woman’s injuries are not thought to be serious.
Traffic is reported to be unaffected by the accident.
