TRAFFIC was held up in Felixstowe town centre for a short while at lunch-time today after a man collapsed in the road.
TRAFFIC was held up in Felixstowe town centre for a short while at lunch-time today after a man collapsed in the road.
Police said the man - who has not been named - fell into the street.
An ambulance was called at 12.39pm and the road was closed for a few minutes for safety reasons while the man was treated by paramedics. It was open again by 1.10pm.
He was then taken to Ipswich Hospital, Heath Road, for further a check up.
