POLICE have reopened the section of Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, that had been closed while investigations were carried out into the discovery of three bodies.
The A1156 stretch of road was closed after the bodies of Paula Clennell and Annette Nicholls were found in Levington on December 12.
Two days earlier, the body of Anneli Alderton was found near to Amberfield School, in Nacton.
Although Felixstowe Road has now been reopened, the road from the A1156 leading to Nacton, known locally as The Street, and the 'Old Felixstowe Road' will remain closed for the foreseeable future, according to a police spokeswoman.
She thanked motorists and local residents for their patience while part of Felixstowe Road was closed.
