The incident took place on Wellington Street, near Norwich Road, this afternoon.
The road was not blocked, but delays have been caused in the area.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Constabulary said that no one had been injured in the collision.
An ambulance was called to the scene but was not required in the end.
Recovery vehicles have been called to the scene.
