SUFFOLK police announced that roads in the west of the county were clear and running this morning despite the freezing overnight temperatures.
A police spokesman said there were no significant issues on the roads although calls to emergency services had been made during the night.
She said: “We had reports of cars leaving the road and single vehicle collisions and broken down cars but no major problems or issues.”
She said there had been a high number of reports of people throwing snowballs at cars and buildings.
Drivers are still being advised to only travel if their journey is absolutely necessary.
