THERE were more traffic problems in Suffolk tonight after separate accidents led to the closure of two busy roads.
The first crash happened on the A12 at Corton shortly after 7pm, involving two cars. Firefighters had to release three people from the wreckage, and a woman was taken to James Paget Hospital with serious injuries.
Police had to close the road for most of the evening , setting up diversions at the Hopton roundabout
Meanwhile, the A1120 between Stonham and Pettaugh was shut just after 9.30pm after a car hit a telegraph pole, bringing cables down in the road.
Diversions were set up and it was expected to be at least four hours before the cables could be made safe.
The driver was being treated by paramedics, although it was not clear how serious their injuries were.
