A VILLAGE post office is expected to reopen today nearly two weeks after a terrifying armed raid left the 30-year-old postmistress too traumatized to return to work.
Postmistress Sarah Buttle is still too upset to go back to work after she struggled to fight off three armed robbers who stole cash on November 5 at Little Stonham on the A140.
Her father Colin Buttle, 52, said: "She is still very nervous, but we have put in additional security so she is completely secure. She didn't think she struggled, but she has bruises across her back and down her sides, so I think she must have done.
He said his daughter had worked in the post office for two years, working with her mother in the family business which they have owned for four years.
