A ROCK band fronted by former Woodbridge school boy Charlie Simpson has been nominated for a top music award, it has been revealed today.
Fightstar, led by the former Framlingham College pupil has been nominated in the Best British Band category of the Kerrang rock awards.
After finding fame with teen heart-throb rock band Busted, Charlie shocked fans by announcing early last year that he would be quitting the trio in order to focus on his work with Fightstar.
The award nomination will see the band fighting it out against some of the other most successful British rock groups and could see them at an award ceremony with some of the biggest names in the industry.
