A Rolex watch was stolen following a burglary at a home in East Bergholt and police are appealing for witnesses.

The incident took place between 8.15am and 5.50pm on Wednesday at a house in the vicinity of Quintons Road.

A suspect forced entry into the property via a door and once inside, a search was carried out and a Rolex watch was stolen.

It is not yet known if anything else was taken.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the village on that day, or who has any information about this crime, is asked to contact South CID at Landmark House on 101, quoting reference 33948/18.
