Suffolk children have now returned back to school after the festive break, and we thought what better way to mark the start of the new term than with some school memories?
In 2004, Downing Primary School held a Roman day, with pupils rising to the challenge of dressing for the era, many wearing traditional garments including stolas and togas.
The Year 3 pupils got into character as they played the roles of slaves and masters.
The group also got to tuck into a Roman feast in the classroom at the school over 14 years ago.
Downing Primay School is now called The Willows Primary School, located in Downing Close, and welcomes around 310 children every day.
Can you spot yourself in this gallery or did you attend Downing School in the 2000s?
