A WOMAM pedestrian has died after being hit by a runaway van in Ipswich today.
Emergency services were called to Foxhall Road where the collision left the woman, who is believed to have lived nearby, pinned up against a fence.
The accident happened near the Nuffield Hospital at 10.45am.
The road was closed.
