A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital with cuts and grazes today after colliding with a car at the junction of Belstead Road and Heatherhayes.
The accident, involving a silver Ford Focus and a black Aprillia motorcycle, happened at around 8.45am.
The 16-year-old motorcycle rider was taken to Ipswich Hospital but his injuries were not thought to be serious.
At 8.35am, a Red Peugeot 106 and a blue Volkswagen Polo collided on the Felixstowe-bound carriageway of the A12 at Martlesham Heath.
It is though one of the vehicles skidded on the wet road.
A 37-year-old woman had minor shoulder and chest injuries but was not taken to hospital.
