Rush-hour travel problems on the way into Ipswich have been cleared after a breakdown earlier this evening.
Suffolk police received reports just before 5pm of a two vehicle collision in the outside lane of the A12 heading northbound just before the Copdock roundabout.
Motorists were initially warned of delays.
However a police spokesman later confirmed the accident in fact related to only one vehicle, which had broken down.
No details of the vehicle or conditions of its drivers have been reported.
The road has reopened and there are no longer any major delays reported.
