MORE than 100 Samaritan volunteers will swap their phones for boots this weekend in Ipswich as part of a bid to raise funds. The Ipswich and East Suffolk branch will host the charity's national walk in East Anglia tomorrow at 8am.
MORE than 100 Samaritan volunteers will swap their phones for boots this weekend in Ipswich as part of a bid to raise funds.
The Ipswich and East Suffolk branch will host the charity's national walk in East Anglia tomorrow at 8am.
Samaritans from all over Britain will descend upon the Shotley peninsula for either a half or full marathon walk starting from Ipswich High School, at Woolverstone.
Terry Waite will be present to cut the ribbon and offer words of encouragement at the first eight mile checkpoint.
