CHILDREN'S faces lit up with delight as Santa paraded through Woodbridge on a wagon pulled by two Suffolk punch horses.
The annual celebration was organised by the Rotary Club of Deben to raise funds for the East Anglian Children's Hospices.
While Santa spread his festive cheer, buskers on the Thoroughfare entertained the crowds to raise cash for Rotary Club charities.
Event organiser Dudley Deas thanked Hollesley Bay stud farm for supplying the horses and said: "The event was very well received. Children loved it and were able to go on board the wagon and talk to Santa.
"People also liked to see the horses who managed to deposit a couple of piles of horse manure through the town although we were very quickly able to get out the spade and bucket."
Last year's event raised £500 from the busking and a further £500 for the East Anglian Children's Hospices.
