HUNDREDS of Santas will be racing through an Ipswich park on Sunday to raise money for charity.

East Anglia Children's Hospices is once again holding its Santa Run in the town, and is inviting people to take part.

Last year EACH held four Santa Runs across East Anglia, which raised around £40,000 to help support and care for local life-threatened children and their families.

Rachel Wright, of EACH, said “The Ipswich Santa Run was fantastic last year, and we aim to make this year's event even bigger and better.”

Everyone is welcome to take part. The course is around 2km long, and it's up to you whether you run, jog or walk. The run is around Christchurch Park, and starts at 11am.

Adults are asked to get a minimum of £20 sponsorship and pay £12 to enter, which includes a free Santa suit and postage and packing. There is a special rate of £5 for under 14s which includes a Santa hat. PKF are kindly sponsoring the run this year.

You can enter online at www.each.org.uk, or call 01953 715559 for an entry form.
