The emergency medical charity, which relies on voluntary donations, hopes to have raised more than £2,000 from the event.

A group of 15 teams from schools across Suffolk competed in a round robin tournament on Sunday, June 10 at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club with trophies awarded for fair play and passing skills. The overall winners were Bury St Edmunds-based Hardwick Primary School.

Ben Hall, SARS operations manager, said: “We were delighted with how the event went and it was great to see so many kids enjoying the football and helping raise money to support SARS. A lot of hard work went into setting up the event, we would like to give special thanks to James Sturgeon at the Bury Schools Partnership, Andy Herlihy at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, and Essex Medics for their help in making sure the event went smoothly.”
