A cast of 70 pupils, assisted by a team of 15 staff members doing make up, costumes, lighting, sound and choreography, came together for a show stopping three performances of a popular musical.
Orwell Park School put on a production of We Will Rock You, based on the songs by rock band Queen, accompanied by a staff band led by the school’s head of music Martin O’Brien.
The main character roles were split between two students who were backed up by an enthusiastic supporting cast.
The show also included a real motorbike, a van and a model of Tottenham Court tube station.
Director Darren Boddice said: ”The cast and crew have all been brilliant and worked tirelessly to present a real West End-quality production.”
